TRACK OF THE DESERT GIANTS
Palmwag / Swakopmund

days
DESCRIPTION :
The trip starts from Palmwag/Swakopmund area in the morning and is aimed at ensuring that visitors experience the vast Conservation areas of 500 000 Ha set aside by the local community for the purposes of allowing wildlife to bread freely and multiply. It is therefore expected that driving through the area the chances of seeing the desert adapted giants such as elephants and rhino are greater and one will also see the distance these magnificent animals cover from one end to the other. On this safari one will be able to meet the defenders of conservations, people that have made it work and have ensured that today there are wildlife in abundance outside national park, these are people of Puros villages in the Namib desert and the Sesfontein village where the old German Fort is, built around 1901. After Sesfontein we will be moving southwards toward Palmwag lodge for further connection to other destinations.
