DESCRIPTION :

The trip starts from Swakopmund through to Kamanjab and continue toward the north and pass through Palmfontein up to the wildlife rich paradise, lunch along the way camping at Okavriona for two nights. Thereafter continue in the northern direction through small Serengeti plan and overnight at beautiful river bed of Ombonde with sundowner for the afternoon. From there travel in the northern direction through the area dominated by the Herero speaking Community up to Himba capital Town. The next will be a visit to Himba village for the morning until lunch and thereafter continue toward Etosha and camp at Galton gate.

The next day through Etosha to Okaukuejo, enjoying rich wildlife in Etosha up to Okaukuejo. The trip end at Okaukuejo or back to Swakopmund.

Day1:  Okavriona:

Travel in the morning from Swakopmund/Kamanjab through Palmfontein to Okavriona, spectacular scenery on the way and set up camp right in the heart of wildlife, Enjoying African breath out in the open.

 

Day 2: Okavariona:

 Game drive with Rhino rangers and do actual tracking with qualified rhino rangers for the day and back to camp. 

• Spend a night at wilderness spring while lions/elephants look on

• Do wildlife drive over the area with rhino rangers (guaranteed chances of seeing rhino. lions. elephants)

• Overnight at the same areas

 

Day 3, Ombonde River:

 After good and nice breakfast in the open, travel in the northern direction up to the beautiful Ombonde river, Lunch will be along the way. The scenery is just the right one and at Ombonde the landscape is just what the soul desire completely. Wildlife will be in abundance all the way. The camp will be set up on the bank of the Ombonde river.

 

Day 4. Opuwo Himba Capital township:

After a short morning walk after breakfast, the tours will be heading in the northern directions through Himba / Herero settlements. There will stop over at some of the waterholes that community shares with elephants and will get a feel of how local residents constantly have to share water with the big giants such as elephants that sometimes results in conflict between the local farmers and wildlife. We will get this by going through the areas. Lunch will be along the way. We will end the day in Opuwo Ohakane lodge right in Opuwo

 

Day,5 Himba Visit and Camping next to Etosha:

Next day, a visit to the Himba village will be conducted in the morning up to Lunch, after that will head toward Etosha and continue along Etosha National Park and camp at Beautiful camp next to the Park. Again, this is wildlife rich area, occasionally one may get uninvites visitors, these are elephants and lions, nice camping areas, at the site. 

Day 6 Okaukuejo/ Etosha National Park

The next day will be traversing through the National park. With stop over at various waterholes and enjoy the beauty of Etosha and continue driving up to Okaukuejo camp in the Park. The tour End Here or back to Swakopmund.
